visual stimuli

All the research I’ve been doing for my show has culminated in a new found respect for hand gestures in art.  Now I will obsessively look for their hidden meanings in almost anything.  

If you’ve never thought about it before, take a look at the hands in particular in some of your favorite paintings.  More than likely they are making a very specific gesture that tells a story all in itself.  It’s totally fascinating.

I kinda want to do a series of just hands now, but that idea will have to sit on the mental shelf until I find some time for it :)
